We seek someone/something
to show that we are not nothing. I’m sure you can think of examples now.
Sometimes we must have faith in life’s processes, but God is the amazing being
and resource that we never have to wait for. He’s always there for us. So much
anxiety and misguidance comes from mixing our worth in with various
status/success (including media) parameters. The right car. The right partner.
The right social group. The right connections. It’s endless and exhausting. God
is the right one for all of us. He made us. He loves us. He wants to see us live
a fulfilling life according to His Word. That focus simplifies, refines and
rewards.
