Media Match Series (Oscar Nominees)-Moneyball and...

Saw Moneyball in the theaters, but missed the ending because of time constraints. The film had such a subtle intelligence to it based in the key partnership between Billy, played by Brad Pitt, and his baseball front office colleague played by Jonah Hill who definitely deserves his Oscar nomination! The other sports film that matches this one best to me is Rocky. Plenty of great baseball films out there, but these two have great relational dynamics that build the subtle drama as real life mirrors the sport through several challenging situations and scenarios.
